Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex

Thomas Assembly Center

Situated in the heart of all of the Louisiana Tech athletic facilities -- surrounded by Joe Aillet Stadium, the Thomas Assembly Center, the Lady Techster Soccer Complex and the Jim Mize Track and Field Complex -- are eight lighted tennis courts that make up the LA Tech Tennis Complex.

Construction on the facility began in March 2008 and concluded five months later in August. Then on Oct. 15, 2008, the women's tennis team played and swept Grambling State in their inaugural match at the new facility. A dedication ceremony took place two weeks later as then Tech President Dr. Dan Reneau officially announced it as the Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex. In the spring of 2015, all eight courts received a facelift by being resurfaced.

The Lady Techsters have tallied an all-time record of 41-22 at their home courts.  Over the last six spring seasons, the team is 34-10 at home which included a season-best nine wins in 2011 and an undefeated home season in 2013.

The facility has also seen the Lady Techsters host its first-ever conference match on April 8, 2010 against Hawai'i.  They then notched their first-ever conference win a few days later on April 10 against San Jose State.
