RUSTON - Louisiana Tech fans will have a full day of athletics events on Saturday, Feb. 18 when the Bulldog baseball and basketball teams and the Lady Techster basketball team play a tripleheader in Ruston.

The day will begin at 1 p.m. when Wade Simoneaux and the Bulldog baseball team host Texas-Arlington at JC Love Field at Pat Patterson Park (this game time has been moved up from the original game time of 3 p.m.). The game will be the second in a three-game series against the Mavs with the Bulldogs opening their season at 6 p.m. Friday night. The third and final game of the series is set for Sunday at 1 p.m.

Mike White and the Bulldog basketball team will host Central Arkansas at 3:30 p.m. that day in the Bracket Buster contest. The Bulldogs are playing their best basketball of the season and will face the Bears for only the second time ever on hardwood.

The nightcap will start at 6 p.m. when Teresa Weatherspoon and the Lady Techsters host Hawaii in a Western Athletic Conference contest. The game will be a rematch of a the first meeting of the year in which UH defeated the Lady Techsters on the Island.
