Thirteen LA Tech Student-Athletes Earn Degrees in Winter Exercises

RUSTON, La. - Thirteen current and former Louisiana Tech student-athletes from five different sports earned degrees during the University's winter commencement exercises held in the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston.

Baseball led the way with a total of five former players earning degrees, including Ben Carlisle, James Ferguson, Kody Neel, Brian Rike and Trevor Petersen. Four Bulldog Football players also received their degrees following winter quarter include Kevin Kisseberth, Dave Clark, Paul Harris and Ahmad Wallace.

Other LA Tech student-athletes that graduated this past winter include Taylor Dennis (Soccer), John Franklin (Track & Field), Erin Kipp (Softball) and Micara Vassell (Track & Field).

In addition to the winter graduates, over the course of winter quarter, a total of 120 Louisiana Tech student-athletes were named to the Honor Roll.
