RUSTON, La. - Super 1 Foods of Ruston will once again host the annual LA Tech Kids Club Signing Day function as current members and potential members can participate in the event which is scheduled for Aug. 11 from 1-3 p.m.
The LA Tech Kids Club is for youngsters in eighth grade and under.
The Signing Day will be held at Super 1 Foods in Ruston and will feature cookies and punch as well as appearances by the LA Tech Regal Blues and Champ. The event is designed for current members to pick up their membership packet while potential members can sign up for the "best deal in town."
The LA Tech Kids Club was started in 2009 in order to give families an affordable opportunity for their children to participate in all Tech athletic events for one great price.
For only a $40 membership, members of LA Tech Kids Club receive the following benefits:
Free admission to all regular season home LA Tech Athletics events (over 100 events per year, this does not include the Texas A&M football game)

The Louisiana Tech football season kicks off Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. against Texas A&M at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. The athletic department recently announced that club level and premium chairback seating for that game are sold out; however, exceptional seats remain as Tech hosts a Southeastern Conference foe in front of a national television audience.
