RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech Barnes and Noble Bookstore will hold a Back-to-School Blitz beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 6 for all Bulldog fans complete with free food and drinks, discounted merchandise and raffles.

From 6-8 p.m., the event will feature a `WAC Swap' where fans will receive a 20 percent discount in exchange for old Western Athletic Conference merchandise. The outdated items will be given away to charity following the event.

All bookstore merchandise is eligible for the 20 percent discount.

Free food and drinks will be provided for all fans in attendance by Aramark and LA Tech Athletics while supplies last.

Any customer that purchases $40 or more worth of merchandise will be entered in a raffle with a chance to win LA Tech memorabilia.

Louisiana Tech Football opens its home schedule at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 as the Bulldogs play hosts to the Lamar Cardinals at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston. The LA Tech Bookstore will be open six hours prior to kickoff from noon to 5 p.m. on that Saturday.
