Jeffry Cummings begins his first year as the ticket operations associate in the Louisiana Tech Ticket Office.

Cummings comes to Ruston with experience working in both the LSU and Tulane athletic departments as well as for the New Orleans Zephyrs minor league baseball team. During his college days in Baton Rouge, he worked in the LSU athletic department helping coordinate promotions for men's basketball and women's soccer.

After graduating from LSU in 2007 with a bachelor's in general studies, Cummings spent seven months as a marketing and promotions intern for the Zephyrs where he worked extensively with the franchise's kids club.

Cummings then joined the Tulane family in September of 2008 as a marketing and promotions assistant in the athletic department where he worked in a number of areas including tickets, promotions and marketing.

He has spent the past year and a half working for First NBC Bank as a sales associate.
