LA Tech Kids Club is for kids in eighth grade and under.
Laura Kneiss joins Louisiana Tech this year as the marketing and promotions associate working under Associate Athletics Director Leah Beasley.
Kneiss' responsibilities will include assisting with marketing and game-day management of all home events, coordinating the LA Tech Kids Club, booking pregame and in-game entertainment, assisting in duties related to hosting championships, co-coordinating the "Bulldogs Tackling Breast Cancer" and "Wiggin' Out" fundraising campaigns as well as organizing community service initiatives.
After lettering in basketball at Birmingham Southern College for two years, Kneiss transferred to Auburn where she earned her bachelor's degree in business administration in 2012. During her time at Auburn, she worked in the athletic marketing department where she assisted with women's soccer, gymnastics, football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, women's tennis and equestrian.
Kneiss interned for the Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox Double A baseball team) where she helped with the events surrounding the Double A All-Star game. She also interned for The Bruno Event Team, an Alabama-based sports marketing and event management company, which hosts multiple events including the SEC Baseball Tournament, the Regions Charity Classic Golf Tournament and the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama.
