Clay Lewis Last College: UL-Monroe Position: Head Equipment Manager

Clay Lewis was promoted to head equipment manager at Louisiana Tech in May 2011 after serving one year as the assistant equipment manager.

A native Louisianan, Lewis returned to The Pelican State after a year as the assistant equipment manager at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.

While at Wofford, Lewis was responsible for all day-to-day equipment room issues, overseeing pre- and post-game laundry and packing for road trips. Lewis also worked with adidas, Wofford's official apparel supplier.

Lewis joined the Wofford staff after serving as a student equipment manager at Louisiana-Monroe, where he earned his degree in kinesiology from in 2009. Lewis served as the interim head equipment manager at one point and has also logged experience as the equipment manager for Oak Grove and Ouachita Christian.

He and his wife, Deanna, currently reside in Monroe.
