LA Tech Sports Properties General Manager Mason Ellenberger announced that LA Tech Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports, has hired Logan Lewis as senior account executive.
Lewis transitions to his new position from within the LA Tech Athletics Department where he has worked within the Aspire Group since November of 2011. He replaces Andrea Nieman, who served in the position for the past two years.
"I am excited to have Logan joining the LA Tech Sports Properties team," Ellenberger said. "He brings a wealth of knowledge of the community and the athletic department as well as being part of a long line of Louisiana Tech alumni."
The Ruston native has grown up with Louisiana Tech in his bloodline. His grandfather E.J. Lewis was a longtime football coach for the Bulldogs while his late grandmother Patsy Lewis served as the dean of admissions for many years.
Logan has spent the past two years working for The Aspire Group within the LA Tech Athletics Department. He began as a member of the sales staff and was promoted to senior sales consultant in July of 2012 and again to fan relationship manager in March of 2013.
As senior account executive for LA Tech Sports Properties, Logan's responsibilities will include generating and closing new business; cultivating relationships with new and existing partners; creating and presenting sponsorship packages, tailored to client objectives; collaborating with vendors, sponsors, and appropriate university athletic personnel to ensure implementation of sponsorships and contract fulfillment; and entertaining sponsors during hospitality and athletic events.
Logan earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech in speech communications in 2008. Following graduation he worked as an outside sales representative for Pinch Group of Companies in Houston before being promoted to the terminal manager of PGC's property in Lafayette.
