Kasey McBrearty enters her second year as marketing and promotions intern at Louisiana Tech. McBrearty assists in various aspects of game management, marketing and promotions while working primarily with football, basketball and volleyball. She was an integral part of the single game marketing campaign for Louisiana Tech's women's basketball game against Fresno State that drew over 7,000 fans and helped the university win its fourth straight NCAA Pack the House award for the WAC. McBrearty joined the Louisiana Tech staff in September of 2010 after spending time as an assistant coach for the Centenary College volleyball team. While at Centenary, McBrearty assisted with in-game duties, practices, on-floor coaching and strength and conditioning. Prior to joining the Centenary staff, McBrearty coached volleyball at St. Michaels Academy in Austin, Texas following her collegiate career as a member of theTexas A&M University-Corpus Christi volleyball team. A native of Austin, Texas, McBrearty graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a bachelor's degree in communication with a minor in public relations and advertising criticism in 2009.
