Anna Claire Thomas enters her first year in the Louisiana Tech Media Relations Department as the primary sports information director for baseball, women's volleyball and women's bowling.

In her time at Tech, Anna Claire served as the sports editor for The Tech Talk over the course of two years and recently served as editor-in-chief for the school newspaper during summer quarter. Anna Claire also was a student intern for the Louisiana Tech Multimedia Department for three years specializing in video productions for All-Access.

In her time as the school newspaper's sports editor, Anna Claire was named Best Sports Columnist and Best Sports Writer by the Society of Professional Journalists (Region 12) and Louisiana Press Women respectively.

A Monroe native, Anna Claire graduated in the fall of 2012 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in marketing.
