Christy Waguespack Position: Sports Medicine - Intern

Christy Waguespack begins her first year as an intern in the Louisiana Tech Sports Medicine Department.

Waguespack, who is from Thibodaux, La, will work with head athletic trainer Keith Bunch with the Bulldog football team and will serve as the primary contact for the Lady Techster tennis team.

She graduated from The University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2008 with a bachelor of science in kinesiology where she played softball for the Lady Warhawks.

She then earned her master's degree in athletic training at The University of Arkansas in 2011. While at Arkansas she worked with softball, women's soccer, and football as well as completing rotations with a local high school football team and a physical therapy clinic.

She is a certified member of the National Athletic Training Association.
