P.J. Brown

Brown was a four-year letterwinner for Tech and averaged 10.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game over his career. He left Louisiana Tech as the Bulldogs' 2nd all-time leader in blocks with 241 and 5th in rebounds with 1,017. A native of Winnfield, La., Brown went 87-33 in his career while leading Tech to two America South Conference Tournament Championships, one America South Conference Regular Season Co-Championship and a Sun Belt Conference Championship. His teams made the postseason every year, appearing in the NCAA Tournament twice and the NIT twice. Brown was a second round pick in the 1992 NBA Draft and enjoyed a 15-year career with five different teams. Three times he was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team and won the Sportsmanship Award in 2004. In 2008, he won the NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics.
