In 1985 Dr. Green became Louisiana Tech's first Hall of Fame member who did not attend the University. A founder of Green Clinic along with his brothers in the 1930's, Dr. Green served the Tech athletic program on a volunteer basis for over 30 years. He became one of the country's leading authorities on sports medicine during his career and his energy, enthusiasm and dedication to Louisiana Tech was exceptional. Throughout her nearly 40 years of service to Tech, Dr. Green never charged a penny for his work. Dr. Green died in 1975.
