Terry Bradshaw has been perhaps the one person above all others to help spread the word of Louisiana Tech football nationwide. At Tech he served notice of his talent by leading the nation in total offense as a junior in 1968, then became a two-time all-America pick and was chosen the No. 1 draft pick for the NFL on Jan. 28, 1970. He graduated owning virtually all Tech passing records and established even more impressive figures in the NFL, leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to Super Bowl titles in 1974, 1975, 1978 and 1979 - the only quarterback yet to accomplish that feat in the NFL. He also led Tech to its first two bowl appearances ever in 1968 and 1969 as Tech went 17-4 those two seasons.
