Football Has Record-Breaking Season in 2012

It was a season that rewrote the Louisiana Tech offensive record books as the Bulldogs recorded eye-popping numbers on their way to nine wins and two victories over BCS programs. Senior Colby Cameron won the Sammy Baugh Award after breaking the NCAA Division I record for consecutive passes without an interception while freshman Kenneth Dixon shattered numerous Division I freshman records set by NFL Pro Bowler Marshall Faulk. The Bulldogs led the country in scoring offense and even took Texas A&M down to the wire before falling 59-57 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. The season will be remembered for the 31 seniors and a team that played for their fallen comrade (Tyrone Duplessis).
