Jim Mize Invitational

Format:

Louisiana Tech University will be hosting the Jim Mize Invitational meet on Saturday, March 16^th. Teams invited include: Stephen F. Austin; Arkansas  Baptist CC;  Northwestern State University;  Arkansas Pine Bluff

This is a closed meet. Unattached Entries WILL NOT be accepted, unless LA TECH Alumni or part of invited college teams.

Meet Location:

Jim Mize Track is located on Tech Drive and Bulldog Drive

 

Scoring:

This will not be a scored competition

 

Entries:

All entries must be submitted by email to Justin Wickard (jwickard@latech.edu)

All entries must be submitted by March 12^th by Midnight

All Entries, changes and updates must be completed by the deadline.

Qualifying:

There will be no preliminary heats in the running events. We will be reseeding the 200 dash 1 hour before the event starts with athletes checking in. Heats and lanes will be randomly drawn. In field events, the top nine will advance to the finals. All NCAA rules and regulations will be followed

The meet will stay on schedule and there will be no first or second calls given. We will run on schedule!!!

 

Packet Pick-up: Coaches will be given a Jim Mize Media Guide that will have heat sheets and meet schedule.

 

Food:

Dowlings Smokehouse BBQ will provide sandwich bags at a reasonable cost for teams that are interested.
