2008 Indoor Second Team All-WAC (Triple Jump)
2011:Opened the season with a second-place finish in the triple jump at the Leonard Hilton Invitational (1/14) with a mark of 48-0.75 ... Finished second in the triple jump at the Arkansas State Invitational (1/22) with a mark of 47-10 ... Jumped 50-4 in the triple jump at the Tyson Invitational (2/11-12) to finish second and garnering WAC Male Field Athlete of the Week honors ... Finished fourth in the triple jump at the WAC Championships (2/24-26) with a mark of 47-2.5.
2010: Did not compete during the indoor season... Opened the outdoor season at the Jim Mize Invitational (3/20), winning the long jump with a mark of 21' 8" and placing second in the triple jump with a mark of 47' 0.5"... Finished seventh in the triple jump at the LSU Relays (3/26-27) with a mark of 48' 7.5"... Garnered all-WAC second team honors at the WAC Outdoor Championships (5/12-15) as he finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 49' 3".
2009: Opened indoor season by winning the triple jump at the Lincoln Hilton Memorial (1/16) with a mark of 49' 7.25"... Finished 11th in the triple jump at the Razorback Invitational (1/23) with a mark of 48' 8.25" while placing 22nd in the long jump with a mark of 21' 3.5"... Finished ninth at the Texas A&M Invitational (2/13) in the triple jump with a mark of 49' 2.25" while placing 16th in the long jump with a mark of 23' 3.5"... At the WAC Indoor Championships (2/27), finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 50' 4.5" to earn all-WAC honors while placing eight in the long jump with a mark of 22' 2.25"... Opened outdoor season at the Dr. Pepper Invitational (3/21) with a sixth-place finish in the long jump, leaping 21' 6"... Was the runner-up in the triple jump with a mark of 47' 10" and finished third in the long jump with a mark of 22' 3.75" at the Jim Mize Invitational (3/28)... His season-best jump of 48' 10.25" placed him fifth at the Ole Miss Invitational (4/11) while he jumped 22' 2.25" in the long jump to finish 16th.... At the LSU Alumni Gold Invite (4/18), finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 47' 10.5" while jumping 21' 4" in the long jump to place 13th... Won the triple jump with a mark of 46' 11.75" while placing second in the long jump with a mark of 22' 2.5" at the Cole-Lancon Twi-Light (4/30)... At the WAC Championships (5/14), placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 48' 7.25" while finishing seventh in the long jump with a mark of 22' 3.5".
2008: Earned Outdoor and Indoor All-WAC Honors as well as All-LSWA for the outdoor season...Finished fourth in the triple jump at the WAC outdoor championships with a jump of 40-9.25, his best of the season...Best jump in the long jump for the indoor season was a 21-3.5 at the WAC indoor championships...Best jump of the indoor season in the triple jump was a 49 feet...Best jump of the outdoor season in the long jump with a jump of 20-2.25 feet at the Snowbird Invitational...
High School: Lettered two years under Pete Boudreaux for the Catholic High School Bears... Finished as district runner-up as a junior in 2006... Named team captain as a senior... Holds three high school records at Catholic HS... Helped lead Catholic to district 3-5A championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007 as well as regional championships all three years... Was ranked sixth nationally in the triple jump his senior year... Named an indoor All-American for the triple jump in 2007... Earned district rally qualifier for art his senior year... Named Outstanding Fieldsman... Was fourth in the National Indoor Scholastic Championships in track... Was a part of the 2007 Catholic High School indoor state track championship team.
Personal: Son of Connie and Adam Keys... Has four brothers: Jacob, Mark, Paul and Quincy... Has four sisters: Sarah, Nancy, Naomi and Kim... Born August 28, 1989 in Baton Rouge, La.... Chose LA Tech over Midland Lutheran and Nebraska and LSU... Majoring in sociology.
