2009 Outdoor Second Team All-WAC (High Jump)
2011: Did not compete during the indoor season ... Jumped 6-4 in the high jump to finish fifth at the LSU Relays (3/25-26) ... Finished second in the high jump at the Jim Mize Invitational (4/1-2) with a mark of 6-2.25 ... Finished ninth in the high jump with a mark of 6-2 at the Northwestern State Invitational (4/16) ... Recorded a season-best high jump mark of 6-5.5 at the WAC Championships (5/10-13), placing seventh.
2010: Opened the year at the Lincoln Hilton Memorial (1/15) where he finished eighth in the high jump with a mark of 6' 4.25"... Placed 11th in the high jump at the Texas A&M Invitational (1/16) with a height of 6' 2.75"... Jumped 6' 2.75" in the high jump at the Razorback Invitational (1/22-23) to finish ninth... Also finished ninth in the high jump at the Tyson Invitational (2/12-13), jumping 6' 4.75"... At the WAC Indoor Championships (2/25-27), finished fourth in the high jump with a personal best mark of 6' 6.75" to earn second team all-WAC honors while also placing 10th in the long jump with a mark of 20' 9" and ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 43' 3"... Opened the outdoor season with a 21' 0.25" mark in the long jump, placing second at the Jim Mize Invitational (3/20)... Finished ninth in the high jump at the LSU Relays (3/26-27) with a mark of 6' 4"... Garnered second team all-WAC honors in the high jump at the WAC Outdoor Championships (5/12-15) with a jump of 6' 6.75" while also placing eighth in the triple jump with a makr of 43' 10.5".
2009: Opened the indoor season at the Lincoln Hilton Memorial (1/16) with a mark of 6' 4.25" in the high jump to finish 17th... Finished 14th in the high jump with a mark of 6' 4.75" while running 50.63 in the 400m at the Razorback Invitational (1/23)... At the WAC Indoor Championships (2/27), finished eighth in the high jump with a mark of 6' 2.75" while he ran 50.98 in the prelims of the 400m to advance to the finals... Finished eighth in the finals of the 400m with a time of 51.12... Began outdoor season with a second-place finish in the high jump at the Dr. Pepper Invitational (3/21), jumping 6' 4.75"... Won the high jump at the Jim Mize Invitational (3/28) with a mark of 6' 3" while placing third in the 400m with a time of 52.53... Ran 50.58 in the 400m at the Ole Miss Invitational (4/11) to finish 39th... At the LSU Alumni Gold Invite (4/18), placed 20th in the 400m with a time of 49.88 while placing 15th in the high jump with a mark of 6' 2.75"... Finished third in the high jump at the Cole-Lancon Twi-Light (4/30) with a mark of 6' 6.75"... At the WAC Championships (5/14), jumped 6' 4.75" in the high jump to finish seventh.
2008: Finished seventh in the high jump at the WAC championships with a jump of 6'1"...Top indoor jump of the season was 6'3" a the Indiana Relays...Also ran the 400 during the season...Top indoor 400 time of 50.77 at the Indiana Relays...Finished sixth in the WAC outdoor championships with a personal best jump of 6'6"... Top 400 time came in the WAC outdoor championships at 50.22 seconds...
High School: Lettered two years under Mike Crenshaw for the Alexandria Senior High Trojans... Named first team All-District in 2007... In 2007, was the 300m hurdle state champion and placed third in high jump and was First Team All District... Helped lead team to district, regional and state championships in 2006... Helped lead team to district and regional championships and state runner-up in 2007... Also lettered three years in basketball, earning all-district and all-regional honors.
Personal: Son of Shirley and Thomas Roque... Has one brother, Thomas... Has two sisters, Kimberly and Christina... Born September 29, 1988 in Stuggart, Germany... His uncle, Jerome Deal, was a sprinter for UTEP... Majoring in mechanical engineering.
