NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Louisiana Tech’s women’s 4x400m relay claimed gold and Jarvis Gotch was the top collegian in the 60m dash with the fourth-fastest time in school history as action wrapped up at the Vanderbilt Invitational late Saturday.

The women’s 4x400m relay beat Georgia Tech by over a second with a winning time of 3:44.62 as the Lady Techsters claimed gold. The relay squad of Kirsten Johnson, Mia Adams, Destiny Aaron and Brandi Dobbin also beat third-place Western Kentucky by over a second while Middle Tennessee came in fourth.

Meanwhile Gotch proved he excels at more than just the long jump as he ran 6.70 in the finals to finish as the top collegian and second overall.
