The men's team finish in second place is the highest the Bulldogs have finished since placing second at the 2001 Sun Belt Indoor Championships in Jonesboro, Ark.

Trey Hadnot won two gold medals Saturday (200m, 4x400m Relay). His 200m time of 20.81 set a new conference record, a mark he previous set on Friday. Hadnot also took the baton trailing UTEP and overran the Miners' anchor leg to claim gold.

Jermey Hicks Freshman of the Year award is the first time a Bulldog has been named Freshman of the Year (indoor season) in the school's history.

Kim Francis set a new school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.23 as she finished second in the race. It marked the first time Francis has not won a gold medal in the 60m hurdles at a conference championship event, falling 0.04 (four-hundredths of a second short).
