ARLINGTON, Texas - Liza Wall set a Louisiana Tech school record in the hammer throw and LA Tech recorded 22 top-10 finishes at the Bobby Lane Invitational hosted by UT Arlington late Friday and Saturday.

Wall was the silver medalist in the hammer throw and her mark of 178-1 (54.29m) broke her own school record of 166-9 (50.83m) set last year in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Ohio native is now responsible for three of the best four hammer throws in Louisiana Tech history.

Chloe Lautric led a 2-3 finish in the women’s high jump as she led the way with a mark of 5-7 (1.70m) to finish second while Jasmine White followed in third, jumping 5-5 (1.65m).

LA Tech’s women posted a 4-5-6 finish in the women’s triple jump. The Lady Techster trio was led by Denisha Henix’s jump of 39-4 (11.99m) followed by Laticia Watson’s jump of 38-11.5 (11.87m) with Dominique Lewis jumping 37-5.75 to round out the group.
