@LATechTandF Women's Relay Advances at Pepsi Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Louisiana Tech ran the fourth-fastest women's 4x400m relay time in the preliminary heats to advance to Saturday's finals at the Pepsi Florida Relays at Percy Beard Track Friday afternoon in Gainesville.
The Lady Techster quartet of Diamond Every, Charla Craddock, Mia Adams and Victoria Wade ran a season-best time of 3:38.51 to qualify for the finals on Saturday, finishing less than a half-second behind Iowa and Kentucky.
Wade was also near a personal record time in the 100m as she ran 11.69 to finish 27th. Craddock ran 23.77 in the 200m invitational to finish 22nd, matching a career-best time in the event.
Morgan Keesee set a new personal record discus throw of 145-1 (44.23m) at the meet, placing 11th.
On the men's side, Jermey Hicks ran 21.41 in the 200m invitational to finish 33rd while the men's 4x400m relay team placed 26th with a time of 3:15.97.
The final day of action at the Pepsi Florida Relays kicks off at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT in Gainesville. Saturday's action can be seen live on the SEC Network + starting at 2:15 p.m. ET/1:15 p.m. CT.
