HAMMOND, La. - Louisiana Tech recorded five wins and had 27 different marks score as Tech wrapped up action at the Southeastern Lion Invitational late Saturday in Hammond.

Camille Lott registered the second-best javelin throw in Conference USA this season as her mark of 145-6 (44.35m) set a new personal best throw as she claimed gold in Hammond.

Chloe Lautric won the high jump with a mark of 5-7 (1.60m) while Jasmine White finished fourth with a jump of 5-3 (1.60m). The Lady Techster success in the jumps continued over to the long jump where Janiel McDonald won with a mark of 18-7.75 (5.68m). McDonald also ran 14.41 in the 100m hurdles to finish fifth.

Louisiana Tech’s women almost completed a sweep of the jumps but while Laticia Watson’s triple jump mark of 40-4 (12.29m) was a personal best and ranks sixth in C-USA this season, it fell almost eight inches shy of claiming gold and she settled for silver.
