HAMMOND, La. - Louisiana Tech recorded a total of seven top-3 finishes and had six athletes set personal record marks as the Southeastern Invitational at the Southeastern Track Complex on Friday in Hammond.
Kendall Hayes won the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.54 while Evan Warnick ran 15.13 to place sixth. Brandon Crear added a 15.29 time to finish eighth while Yusuf Muhammad finished 10th with a time of 15.39. Warnick also ran the 400m hurdles, finishing 55.61 to place sixth.
In the long jump Marlesia Carey finished seventh with a jump of 18-4.25 (5.59m) while Charla Craddock finished 10th, jumping 17-8.75 (5.40m). Former Lady Techster Chelsea Hayes won the event with a jump of 21-11 (6.68m).
Louisiana Tech returns to action Saturday at the LSU Alumni Gold at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium in Baton Rouge.
