BATON ROUGE, La. - Yusuf Muhammad ran the fourth-fastest 400m hurdle time in school history and Kim Francis set the third-fastest 100m hurdle time as Louisiana Tech competed at the LSU Alumni Gold at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium in Baton Rouge this weekend.
Muhammad ran 50.90 in the 400m hurdles, finishing second with the fourth-fastest time in Tech history and a personal record time for the junior.
In the 100m hurdles, Kim Francis ran a wind-aided time of 13.14 in the 100m hurdles as she finished third in a race won by former LSU star Lolo Jones. Francis time ranks third in school history and is a personal record time for the Lafayette native.
Pamela Lee also made a mark on the Tech record books as her 5-7.25 (1.71m) mark in the high jump ranks eighth in school history. Lee finished fifth in the event.
Trey Hadnot ran a personal best time of 20.78 in the 200m as he finished second but was hundredths of a second away from reaching the Tech outdoor record books. Niko Richey finished 10th in the event with a time of 21.21.
