NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Louisiana Tech's outdoor track and field season continues Saturday as Tech travels to Nacogdoches for the Stephen F. Austin Invitational at Fletcher Garner Track.

The meet is slated to begin at 9 a.m. with the women's hammer throw while the running events will begin at 5 p.m. starting with the men's and women's 4x100m relays.

Saturday's meet will pit Tech against host Stephen F. Austin, Rice, Wichita State, Louisiana-Monroe, Nicholls State, Northwestern State, UT Tyler and others.

Leading Tech will be Kim Francis, recently named the Western Athletic Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week after she ran a pair of program top-10 times in the 100m hurdles at the 86th Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.

This will be Tech's last meet before April 19 as the men's and women's teams will take a week off. The program will then gear up for a run towards the WAC Outdoor Championships, set for May 8-11 in Arlington.
