RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech Track and Field Sends Split-Squad Groups to Drake Relays, Penn Relays This Weekend Lady Techsters boast two marks ranked in the top 20 in the world RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech's track and field program will split squads this weekend with two of the nation's premier collegiate track meets taking place. One group will head to the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa with the other group competing at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa.

Lady Techsters Among World Leaders
Antoinette Cobb enters the weekend ranked 19th in the world and 13th in the United States in the 100m hurdles after running a school record mark of 13.22 on April 3 at the Texas Relays. More recently, LA Tech's 4x400m relay team ran 3:36.20 at the LSU Alumni Gold meet, a mark that is currently ranked 19th in the world and 14th in the nation. The Tech quartet of Kamelia Stroy, Monique Wright, Lashannda Worthy and Shante Benion ran the mark in Baton Rouge, La.

Louisiana Tech Sweeps WAC Track Athlete of the Week Awards
Lewis-Baker won the 100-meter dash at the Jim Mize Invitational with a time of 11.84 seconds and ran the opening leg of the 4x100m relay team that won at the Jim Mize Invitational with a time of 46.24. Willis won the 400 meters with a time of 48.07 and ran the opening leg of the 4x400m relay team that won that race with a time of 3:15.05.
