DES MOINES, Iowa - Louisiana Tech's track and field program continues competing on the national stage Thursday as Antoinette Cobb and Quanisha Sales will compete at the USA Track and Field Championships in Des Moines.
Cobb, who flew to Des Moines from Los Angeles where she received the 22nd Annual Honda Inspiration Award, set the school record earlier this season with a 13.07 time in the 100m hurdles as she won her fifth Western Athletic Conference title. Cobb is entered in both the 100m hurdles and the 200m but will most likely only compete in the 100m hurdles, her primary event.
Sales, a freshman this past year, will compete in the 100m and 200m dashes in the USA Junior Championships.
