MIAMI - Louisiana Tech freshman Trey Hadnot will represent Team USA Saturday as he competes in the 200m at the Pan Am Junior Championships in the Miami suburb of Miramar. Hadnot qualified to represent the United States with a third place finish in the 200m at the USATF Junior Championships in June.

Hadnot will run in the 200m prelims on Saturday, July 23 at 11:40 a.m. ET/10:40 a.m. CT and, if he advances, would run in the finals at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT.

A native of Ruston, La., Hadnot was a four-time WAC Champion in his freshman year for the Bulldogs while also being named the WAC's Freshman of the Year and Track Athlete of the Year.

Hadnot is the only athlete on the Americans roster that is from the state of Louisiana.
