TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Paul Sakit recorded a top-30 finish as the Louisiana Tech men’s cross country team finished 12th at the Crimson Classic Friday afternoon at Harry Pritchett Course in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The Crimson Classic featured 23 teams and 187 runners from across the country. Louisiana Tech finished ahead of all other Louisiana foes, including LSU, Louisiana-Monroe, Tulane and Loyola.
“I thought our guys competed hard out there this afternoon,” head coach Gary Stanley said. “It is always fun to go out there and compete and beat your in-state rivals.”
