RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech head cross country coach Gary Stanley announced the team's 2011 slate Thursday with Tech opening the season by hosting the Mook 4 in Ruston on Sept. 17. Tech's Mook 4 race will once again be held at Lincoln Parish Park on the north side of town.
LA Tech hits the road on Monday Sept. 26 for the Stephen F. Austin Open in Nacogdoches, Texas and then has a quick turnaround on Oct. 3 at the Northwestern State Invitational in Natchitoches.
Stanley's squads will face top-ranked competition on Oct. 15 as Tech heads to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Chili Pepper Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas.
On Friday, Oct. 21, Tech returns to Natchitoches for the Demon Invitational in the final regular season meet of the year.
The Western Athletic Conference Championships will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Honolulu, Hawai'i.
