RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech men’s cross country team finished 7th Saturday morning at the WAC Championships at Lincoln Parish Park.
The Bulldogs were led by Matt Wolfe and Alwayne Green who finished in 26:15 and 26:36, respectively. Trailing behind Wolfe and Green was Jermine Morris who ran the eight kilometer course in 27:20. Wrapping up the scoring for Tech was Taylor Ashton and Paul Dautrivie who finished in 28:11 and 28:26, respectively.
Louisiana Tech wraps up the 2012 campaign after having three top five finishes throughout the season.

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech will host the Western Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday morning at Lincoln Parish Park.
The women’s event – a 5-kilometer race – will start at 9 a.m. with the men’s event – an 8-kilometer race – starting at 10 a.m. Admission to the championship meet is free of charge and the WAC will have official championship merchandise available for purchase.
Matt Wolfe leads the Bulldog runners after being named the WAC Athlete of the Week. The Bossier City native finished third overall at the Demon Invitational three-mile run with a time of 15:17, marking the third meet this season that Wolfe has led the Tech men.
The WAC Cross Country Championships are one of two conference championship events Louisiana Tech will host in Ruston this academic calendar year. Tech will also host the WAC Softball Championship on May 8-11, 2013.
