Men’s Cross Country Set to Compete in NCAA Regionals

RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech Men’s Cross Country team is set to travel to College Station, Texas on Friday morning to compete in the NCAA Regionals hosted by Texas A&M.

The 10,000-meter men’s race is set to being at 11 a.m. and follows the women’s race which beings at 10 a.m.

The 27-team men’s field features eight schools from the state of Louisiana and three from Conference USA, including the Bulldogs.

Several teams enter the race with national recognition, led by Arkansas who enters the race ranked eighth in the nation in the USTFCCCA National Poll. Texas and Texas A&M are both receiving votes in the same poll.

Competing for LA Tech will be the same seven runners who propelled the Bulldogs to a seventh place finish at the Conference USA Championships in October. Logan Pearce is set to pace the team as he led Louisiana Tech with a 33rd place finish in that race. Running alongside Pearce will be Manoah Kiptum, Brandon Lewis-Graham, Tom Stringer, Drake Heinz, Hayden Schmitz and Kraemer Jackson.
