2013: Saw action in 42 games and started 27 in his senior season with the Bulldogs ... Hit .189 with three doubles, eight RBI and 11 walks ... Recorded two hits in four at bats with two RBI and a stolen base to help lead Tech to a 7-3 victory over Stephen F. Austin March 16 ... Recorded multiple hits on four separate occasions and multiple-RBI games three times over the course of the season ... Was 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored March 20 vs. Alcorn State ... Walked a career-high three times in a single game March 3 at McNeese State ... Successfully stole two bases in as many attempts in his final season at Tech ... he leaves Tech with a .273 career batting average after four years of service to the program.
2012: Started 53 of the 54 games he appeared in as the second baseman for Tech ... Hit .296 with 26 RBI, 56 hits and 27 runs scored ... Recorded multiple hits on 14 different occasions ... Had a 10-game hitting streak dating from April 14 to May 4 ...Reached base safely in 14 straight games in 2012 ... Recorded three hits on three separate occasions ... Went a perfect 3-3 with two runs scored against Dallas Baptist (3/22) ... Tied his season-high two RBI in a 3-4 effort with one run and a double against Northwestern State (3/27) ... Totaled three hits in five at bats with one RBI, two runs scored and two doubles against Nevada (5/25) in the conference tournament.
2011: Played in 49 games, starting 43 for the Bulldogs at second base... Hit .304 with 13 RBI, 48 hits and 25 runs scored... Ended the season with a 10-game hit streak that saw his average raise from .273 to .304... Scored two runs scored against UALR (2/22)...Made his first career start in the field at second base at UALR (3/1)... Tallied a five-game hitting streak from March 1-March 16 and hit .313 during that stretch... Had a two RBI at UT Arlington (3/16)... Was 2-for-2 at the plate and had the game-tying RBI single in Tech's come-from-behind victory against UTPA (3/26)... Had a career-high three hits and two RBI in Tech's 9-5 win over UTPA (3/26)... Was 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored in Tech's 10-0 over New Mexico State (4/10)... Singled twice at Hawaii (4/15)... Perfect 3-for-3 with one double vs. Fresno St. (5/6)... Hit .444 in the final 10 games of the season, recording 16 hits including five multi-hit games... Drove in two runs in a three-hit performance vs. Hawaii in the WAC Tournament (5/28).
2010: Appeared in nine games primarily as a pinch hitter and second baseman... First career hit came vs. Alcorn State (2/20).
2009: Redshirt season
High School: Lettered three years at Captain Shreve HS in Shreveport, La... Played with teammates John Anderson and Clint Ewing while at Shreve... Was named second team all-district as a sophomore in 2006 while helping the Gators win the 4A Louisiana State Championship... Earned first team all-district 1-4A and all-state honorable mention as a junior as the Gators were Louisiana 4A state runner-ups... Named first team all-district 1-5A, all-city and all-state honorable mention as a senior... As a senior batted .442 with 62 hits, two of which were home runs, five triples and 11 doubles... Also recorded 28 stolen bases and scored 51 runs... Holds the Captain Shreve single season school records in hits (62), stolen bases (30), triples (5) and runs scored (55)... Member of 2005 and 2006 American Legion State Championship teams... His 2006 American Legion team was regional runner-up... Member of National Honor Society.
