2009: Left-hander appeared in a team-high 25 games, including three starts...Named WAC Pitcher of the Week (4/20)...Limited opponents to a league-low .223 batting average during WAC play...Either shutdown or limited the opposition to one run in just under half of his innings pitched, 24 2/3...In his first collegiate appearance against Grambling State, he pitched two scoreless innings and walked only one, while striking out three...In two appearances against Houston Baptist, he allowed only one run in a combined for 5 2/3 innings pitched, while striking out six (3/20 and 3/22)...Did not allow an earned run in six straight appearances or 12 1/3 innings (4/19-4/30)...During that span, he was dominant against WAC foes Fresno State, Sacramento State and Hawaii...Picked up his first win during that stretch, against Fresno State (4/19), and his first save, against Sacramento State (4/26).
