2015: Saw action in 24 games as a pinch hitter and third baseman for the Bulldogs ... Posted a .154 average at the plate after going 2-for-13 on the season ... Scored three runs and drove in two RBIs ... Reached base three times after being hit by a pitch and drew two walks on the season, which led to a .368 on base percentage ... Had two sacrifice hits and one sacrifice fly ... Successfully stole one base in three attempts on the base paths ... Was one of two players on the team who earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal for the 2014-15 academic school year after maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better ... Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for the second straight season.
2014: In his first season with the Bulldogs, he started five games and saw action in a total of 19 as a junior infielder ... Posted a .304 batting average with seven hits in 23 at bats on the year ... Totaled one double and an RBI, while also scoring four runs and walking three times for a .385 on base percentage ... Successfully stole two bases in as many attempts ... Earned his first career start with the Bulldogs on Feb. 26 versus UALR and recorded his first hit in a Tech uniform a few days later versus McNeese State on March 5 ... Was a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI on April 20 at Southern Miss after coming in as a defensive substitution at second base ... Named to the Conference USA Commissioners' Honor Roll for the 2013-14 academic year.
Holmes CC: Played at Holmes Community College in Goodman, Miss. for coaches Kenny Dupont ... Hit a team-leading .388 as a sophomore for the Dirtbags ... Had 40 hits with a home run, two doubles, three triples and 19 runs batted in ... Chose Louisiana Tech over Springhill, Mississippi College and Arkansas-Monticello.
High School: Prepped at Parklane Academy and lettered a total of 14 letters as a five-sport athlete: Baseball (3L), Football (3L), Soccer (3L), Basketball (2) and Track (3) ... Was named first team all-conference as a defensive back in 2011 and 2012 ... Also named second team all-conference utility player and pitcher, as well as team captain for baseball, basketball and soccer ... Hit .415 as a senior at Parklane Academy ...
