2009: Named Academic All-WAC, All-WAC Second Team and All-LSWA First Team at the conclusion of the season...Awarded National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association National Hitter of the Week, WAC Hitter of the Week, Louisiana Sports Writers Association Hitter of the Week and featured in the College Baseball Foundation's National All-Star Lineup (2/23)...Finished third in conference in slugging percentage (.780), tied for fourth in home runs (18) and fifth in doubles (20) and total bases (149) during all games...Tied school's single-season doubles record (20) and tied for fourth in total bases (149)...Led the team with 26 multi-hit games...First on team with a .411 batting average during WAC play...Began the season as Tech's starting third baseman and then moved to shortstop midway through...Experienced a memorable opening weekend against Grambling State (2/20-2/22)...Hit .700 (7-for-10) with nine runs scored, 13 RBI, three doubles and four home runs...In the second game of the three-game set, he established a new career-high in RBI with six...Put together a 14-game hitting streak, fourth-longest on the team (3/15-4/10)...Recorded 20 RBI in a 10-game stretch (4/11-4/26)...Smashed two home runs in one inning at home against New Mexico State (5/15).

2008: Named Academic All-WAC...Appeared in all 54 games, started 51...Played mostly as a third baseman, but also spent time as a shortstop and as a designated hitter...In his first three games of the season, he recorded a total of 10 RBIs (2/22-2/24)...Drove in five runs two times: vs. McNeese State (2/22) and in game two vs. Hawaii (4/26)...Recorded 17 multi-hit games...Scored a run and was 1-for-3 with a walk in a 9-6 win at #11 Baylor (3/4)...Finished season first on team in RBIs (51), tied for first in games played (54) and hit by pitch (10), second in home runs (13), third in slugging percentage (.551) and walks (25), tied for third in doubles (9) and finished fifth in on base percentage (.394) and hits (54).

2007: Split time at third base early in the season and came off the bench late in the year to help the Bulldogs...Hit .395 in 40 games...Went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in a start against Arkansas-Pine Bluff...Hit a clutch RBI double in the WAC Tournament to give Tech the lead against Fresno State.

2006: Named Academic All-WAC...Started 14 games for the Bulldogs and played in 31...Batted .288 on the season...Went 3-for-5 with a career-high three runs scored against Grambling State.

High School: Lettered three years under coach Ryan Cunningham for the Medicine Lodge High School Indians in Medicine Lodge, Kan....Helped lead the Indians to three league championships in the Central Plains League... Finished as a three-time first team all-conference, two-time first team all-area, and earned first team all-state honors once... Named Hutchinson New Pitcher of the Year...Played in the Kansas All-Star Game...Batted .604 his senior season with three HRs and 27 RBI...Went 8-1 as a pitcher with a 0.87 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 55 innings...Lettered two years in basketball as a forward...Finished as a four year honor roll student.
