2015: Posted a 4-4 record in 15 appearances on the mound with 14 starts ... Named Second Team All-Conference by Conference USA following his senior season ... Held opponents to a .270 average, while posting a 3.68 earned run average in 88.0 innings pitched ... Allowed 95 hits, 60 runs, 47 earned runs, 27 walks and 66 strikeouts ... His 66 strikeouts this season helped him crack the Top 10 in LA Tech history for career strikeouts, as he has now struck out 234 batters in his Bulldog career, which ranks ninth in school history ... He also cracked the Top 10 in innings pitched in a career for a Bulldog pitcher, as the junior has now totaled 270.2 innings on the mound, which currently ranks ninth all-time in LA Tech history ... This season, he held opponents to a .285 batting average with 10 doubles, a triple and nine home runs ... Pitched his first complete game of the season and the fourth of his career on March 15 as he allowed just one earned run and struck out seven to help lead LA Tech to a win over Florida Atlantic ... 2012: In his rookie season with the Bulldogs, Maton posted an 8-5 record and a 2.93 ERA, the lowest of any Tech pitcher, in 89.0 IP and 12 starts (18 appearances) ... Named to the 2012 Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American team ... Named 2nd team all-state by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association ... Led all Bulldog pitchers in wins (8), ERA (2.93), innings pitched (89.0) and opponent batting average (.237) ... Notched his first career win at Arkansas-Little Rock (2/22) with one hit allowed, four strikeouts and zero runs given up in 4.0 innings of work ... Recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts in 6.2 innings vs. Lamar (3/7) while giving up two hits and one run, leading Tech to an 8-1 victory over the Cardinals ... One of Maton's most impressive performances of the season came in one of the Bulldogs biggest wins as he pitched Tech to a 9-3 victory over 2011 College World Series participant Vanderbilt on February 29 in Nashville. Maton allowed only three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out eight in 7.0 innings of action ... Named WAC Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 20-26.
