2010: Played in 32 games with six starts...Very valuable as a pinch hitter...Led the team with 13 pinch hit appearances on the year...Went 4-for-6 with four RBI and two doubles at New Mexico (3/13)...Hit his only homerun of the season vs. Grambling State (3/23)

2009: Named Academic All-WAC...Played in 27 games, while starting four...Primarily served as a pinch hitter or a defensive replacement at first base...Committed only two errors on the season...Set a new career-high with four RBI in a win against Grambling State (2/22)...Smashed a single in the 10th inning of the Bulldogs' extra innings win over Stephen F. Austin (3/10)...Launched his first collegiate home run in a 11-9 win in game one of Tech's doubleheader against Texas Wesleyan (4/21).

2008: Appeared in 14 games mostly as a first baseman, started vs. Arkansas as the designated hitter (2/29)...First RBI of the season came in a 10-4 win vs. Hawaii (4/25).

2007: Came off the bench to pinch hit and run...Had his best outing on Feb. 13, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

2006: Redshirt season.

High School: Lettered two years under coach Jamie Morgan for the East Ascension High School Spartans in Gonzales, La...Helped lead the Spartans to district titles in 7-4A his junior and senior seasons...Named honorable mention all-district in 2005...Lettered two years in football as a quarterback, running back, wide receiver and long snapper...Also lettered in swimming...Finished as first team academic all-state and an honor graduate.

Personal: Last name is pronounced "meer"...Son of Peter and Pamela Mire...Has four sisters, Ashley, Britne, Brienne and Jori and three brothers in-law, Shawn, Cody and Justin...Majoring in electrical engineering technology...Born Aug. 28, 1987, in Baton Rouge.
