2014: Led the Bulldogs' pitching staff all season with an ERA of 2.23 in 14 appearances and 13 starts on the mound after undergoing arm surgery the previous offseason ... He ranked 12th among all Conference USA pitchers in earned run average ... He recorded three complete games this season, including throwing a four-hitter against C-USA opponent Tulane to help lead the Bulldogs to their inaugural win as a member of Conference USA ... He also helped lead Tech to a victory over the No. 25-ranked Texas A&M Aggies in College Station after allowing just one run in a yet another complete game performance on the mound ... Pitched a career-long 9.1 innings in his final outing for the Bulldogs as he left a 3-3 tied ball game between Tech and No. 14-ranked Rice in the bottom of the 10th inning ... He has recorded 51 strikeouts and held opponents to 29 runs in 96.2 innings on the mound as a senior ... He earned six wins on the mound for LA Tech in his career, with five of those coming this season ... He has posted a career earned run average of 3.22 in 25 appearances on the mound, while pitching a total of 125.2 innings in a Tech uniform ... In his senior season, he was named to the 2014 Gregg Olson Award watch list, which honors college baseball's "Breakout Player of the Year".
2013: Made 11 appearances and seven starts on the mound in his first season with the Bulldogs ... Posted a 6.52 ERA and 23 strikeouts ... Began the season in the weekend rotation as the Sunday starter and started the first seven Sundays of the season before moving to the bullpen ... Had his longest outing of the season March 9 vs. Nebraska after pitching 5.2 innings ... Struck out a season-high seven batters March 3 at McNeese State ... Picked up his first win in a Tech uniform March 17 vs. Stephen F. Austin after shutting out the Lumberjacks and allowing just two hits in five full innings of work for a 12-2 victory.
Scottsdale CC: Led the Artichokes to a conference championship in 2012 under head coach Alex Cherney and pitching coach, Marcus Clapp, who is fifth all-time on Tech single-season appearances record. Clapp also coached one season at Tech as a graduate assistant after his playing days... Appeared in five games, striking out three in 9.1 innings in 2011... Medical red-shirt as he underwent Tommy John Surgery in 2010... Earned a spot in the starting rotation before his season-ending injury... Originally signed letter of intent with Duquesne University... Pitching coach is former Bulldogs Marcus Clapp, who is tied for third all-time in appearances made by a pitcher in a single season.
