District 13-4A pitcher of the year as a senior in 2009... Louisville Preseason All-American... Earned second team all-state as a pitcher as well as first team All-East Texas... Selected in the 23rd round (709th overall) of the 2009 MLB first year player draft by the Tampa Bay Rays...Played one season of football during his senior year...
