Bulldogs Rebound with 3-0 Win in Sunday's First Game

RUSTON, La. - Jericho Jones pitched 5.1 shutout innings and Albie Goulder hit his fifth home run of the season as Tech won the first game of Sunday's doubleheader, 3-0, over Central Arkansas.

The seven-inning game went very quickly, finishing in under two hours.

Jones (3-1) got the win with 5.1 shutout innings, striking out three while giving up only three hits and walking one. Jamey Bradshaw got his first save of the year with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief, striking out one while facing the minimum five batters.

Adam Cobb and Albie Goulder were perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 and 2-for-2, respectively. Cobb has now hit safely in each of Tech's first 13 games and has reached base safely in his last four straight plate appearances.
