Trevor Petersen picked up his first victory since March 4th against Grambling. In the victory Petersen pitched a total of four innings, struck out four, and didn’t allow a hit.
Austin Hedges picked up two hits against the Trojans. The hits extended his current hitting streak to six games.
Freshman Bre’shon Kimbell belted a three run home run to center field, his third home run of the season. Tech now has 28 home runs on the year after collecting 28 home runs over the entire 2011 campaign. Kimbell also tied a career high with three RBI.
Williams picked up a hit and three walks to extend his on base streak to 10 games.
