  • Alex Williams and Ryan Gebhardt have started all 40 games while Gebhardt has played every inning of every game.
  • Williams started 107 consecutive games dating back to last season.
  • With his start tonight, Williams tied Jeff Best for fifth place all-time in Tech history in games played with 206.
  • Louisiana Tech snapped a six game losing streak with the 11-2 victory over UALR.
  • Tech had a team total nine strikeouts which is the most since April 13th at Nevada.
  • Trevor Petersen picked up his first victory since March 4th against Grambling. In the victory Petersen pitched a total of four innings, struck out four, and didn’t allow a hit.
  • Austin Hedges picked up two hits against the Trojans. The hits extended his current hitting streak to six games.
  • Freshman Bre’shon Kimbell belted a three run home run to center field, his third home run of the season. Tech now has 28 home runs on the year after collecting 28 home runs over the entire 2011 campaign. Kimbell also tied a career high with three RBI.
  • Williams picked up a hit and three walks to extend his on base streak to 10 games.
  • Louisiana Tech scored double digit runs for the first time since March 28 against Grambling.
  • Sam Alvis scored a career high three runs.
