Simoneaux Set to Speak on Upcoming Season in Baton Rouge

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech head baseball coach Wade Simoneaux is set to give fans a sneak peek at his 2013 Bulldog team and preview the upcoming season Tuesday, Jan. 22 at Boutin's Restaurant in Baton Rouge just weeks before the start of the new season.

The event is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. at the Boutin's location on Bluebonnet Boulevard in Baton Rouge and is open to the public. For more information or questions regarding the event, contact Adam McGuirt at 318-255-7950 or adam@latechalumni.org.

LA Tech will open the 2013 campaign Feb. 15 on the road with a three-game series against the UT Arlington Mavericks.

Over the course of the season, the Bulldogs will play a total of 56 games, 30 of those at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. Tech will host eight home series, five of those being Western Athletic Conference contests, including marquee matchups against non-conference opponents such as Nebraska, Oral Roberts and Stephen F. Austin.
