Bulldog Baseball “First Pitch Dinner” Scheduled for Feb. 9

RUSTON, La. – With the 2018 Louisiana Tech baseball season right around the corner, the program will hold its annual “First Pitch Dinner” on Friday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the club level of the Davison Athletics Complex.
Tables for eight are available for purchase with a cost of $500. Single tickets are also available for purchase at $50 per ticket. The dinner will be limited to 350 guests. Corporate sponsors (those that purchase a table) will also receive a gift.
Tech second-year head coach Lane Burroughs is set to speak, as he will give Bulldog fans a glimpse of what to expect when Louisiana Tech opens its season on the road on Friday, Feb. 16 against Pepperdine. Fans will have an opportunity to interact with Burroughs and the rest of the 2018 Bulldog squad.
A “Where Are They Now?” segment will catch up with a former Diamond ‘Dog and their movements since departing from the program.
Current Bulldog players will also be involved with a Player Awards Show, which is sure to bring some fun and laughter to fans in attendance.
Throughout the night a silent auction will also be held with items to bid on scheduled to be announced at a later time.

Louisiana Tech opens the season on Friday, Feb. 16 for a four- game set with Pepperdine in Malibu, California. The Bulldogs return to Ruston the following week for their home opener against McNeese on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. from J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
