RUSTON, La. - With the 2014 Bulldog Baseball season quickly approaching, fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming campaign, which features 29 home games in the team's inaugural season as a member of Conference USA.
Simoneaux and Co. will play a total of 50 games this season, as 29 of those are scheduled to be played inside the confines of J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park, now in its 44th year of service.
The Diamond 'Dogs will host eight home weekend series and five midweek contests over the course of the campaign, including a three-game set against Big Ten opponent Minnesota Feb. 28 - March 2.
The upcoming slate is highlighted by a 12-game home stand to open the 2014 season with in-state foe Southeastern Louisiana traveling to Ruston to open the season Feb. 14-16.
The Bulldogs will face off against a total of four teams that participated in postseason play in 2013, with Texas A&M, Florida Atlantic and UTSA making appearances in NCAA Regionals last season, while Rice advanced to the Super Regionals before falling to NC State on the road.
Louisiana Tech returns 15 letterwinners from a year ago, with four starting position players and one starting pitcher returning to the field in 2014.

Season tickets for the upcoming season are available now and can be purchased by calling the LA Tech Ticket Office at 318-257-3631, emailing email@example.com or logging on to LATechSports.com. The deadline to renew season tickets is Feb. 3, 2014.
