LA Tech Baseball Season Tickets Still Available

RUSTON, La. - Following a 34 win season, the most since 2007, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will look to carry that momentum into the 2012 campaign.
Tech returns Tech returns 14 letter winners and welcomes 15 new players. The Bulldogs only have two seniors on the team. Louisiana Tech lost six seniors to graduation and three juniors to the MLB Draft.
"We have a good mix of experience and young talent on this year's team," said Tech head coach Wade Simoneaux. "With that combination in place, the team and the coaching staff are excited and we have a good feeling about our chances in the WAC."
Sophomore Ryan Gebhardt led Tech with a .343 batting average and was named a Louisville Slugger All-American while closer Caleb Dudley set the single-season record for saves (12) and appearances (32) by a Bulldog pitcher.
The 2012 schedule features 28 home games, highlighted by a three-game series March 22-24 with future WAC member and 2011 NCAA Super Regional participant Dallas Baptist, a team that finished the 2011 season ranked ninth in the nation in home runs. Tech will also host three-game series' with WAC foes Sacramento State, Hawaii and San Jose State.
Several season ticket options are available this year, and we want you to be a part of the excitement surrounding the program and the community.
Chairbacks are available for $130 while family packs in the bench seats are $ 150 for five seats. Ticket donation options are also available through the ticket office. All donations go to worthy charitable nonprofit organizations and are tax deductible.
Single game ticket prices are $8 for adults and $4 for children (ages 4-17).

Louisiana Tech opens its season Feb. 17 hosting future WAC foe Texas-Arlington for a three-game series. Friday's game begins at 6 p.m. while first pitch will be at 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
