April 15, 2013

Game Notes

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech (12-24, 2-10 WAC) will conclude its seven-game road stretch as the Bulldogs travel midweek to face in-state foe Northwestern State (11-25, 2-10 SLC) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Stroud Field in Natchitoches, La.

The Bulldogs are coming off a series sweep at the hands of Texas State last weekend and will coming into Tuesday night's game looking to snap a five-game losing streak against the Demons before conference play resumes next weekend.

"We are going to play a lot of guys that have not played against Northwestern," head coach Wade Simoneaux said. "We have to sit some of these starters after a grueling, long weekend. It has been grueling on these starters, and it takes more of a toll when you are getting beat. Right now, these guys are on their heels and we have to get them off their heels."
