RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech baseball squad will conclude its fall season with the 11th annual Fall World Series set to begin at 6 p.m. Friday at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
The series will feature the Tech Gray team competing against the Tech Black team, with both teams being selected and split up in the annual senior draft held this past Monday night.
"This is the largest senior class in my 11 years at Tech," head coach Wade Simoneaux said. "Add to it 13 juniors, which should equal an exciting, veteran club this season."
The annual Fall World Series will feature seven nine-inning games over the course a week and a half with several rules in place in order to maximize playing time for all of the players participating. All seven games will be played regardless of the outcome.
Admission to all the Fall World Series games is free and open to all fans wanting a preview of the 2013 Bulldog baseball season.
Live stats will be available on Gametracker for each game of the series except Game 6 scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
